Customers at the Chapel Road branch of Barclays in Worthing had a surprise when they went to pay in their cheques.
Because of an electrical problem, the bank could not open but enterprising staff stood outside to deal with queries from a tiny table.
But they couldn't deal with cash in case equally enterprising villains decided to indulge in a spot of daylight robbery.
