Before the powers that be start a crack-down on able-bodied persons using the spaces allocated to disabled badge-holders, perhaps they would like to take a long, hard look at the ease with which these badges are obtained.
I know of several people who have badges who could certainly out-walk me on a day's shopping excursion. I bet most other able-bodied people feel the same.
I have even seen one driver get out of his car with its
disabled badge, unfold a white stick and go tapping
off down the pavement.
