The jury in the clergyman murder trial at Lewes Crown Court was today sent out to consider its verdict.
Christopher Hunnisett, 18, formerly of Coventry Road, St Leonards, denies murdering the Reverend Ronald Glazebrook, 81, at his flat in Dane Road, St Leonards.
With friend Jason Groves, also 18, of Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards, he admits conspiring to prevent Mr Glazebrook's lawful burial.
Hunnisett allegedy drowned Mr Glazebrook in his bath on Friday, April 27, last year before taking his body to woodland and hacking him to pieces.
He and Groves buried the cleric's limbs and head and dumped his torso, the court has heard.
