A successful Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? contestant has fulfilled an ambition to publish a book.
Steve Edwards won £32,000 on the show in December 2000, which allowed him to start writing full-time.
His novel, called Economic Values, is a political satire set in the afterlife.
It tells how Heaven and Hell have been taken over by market forces and explores themes including ecology, the environment and globalisation.
Mr Edwards, 55, from Wivelsfield Green, near Newick, said he was delighted the book had been published.
He said: "I enjoyed doing the show although at the time I was disappointed to go out at £32,000 because I was feeling quite confident.
"But the money was enough for me to add to what I already had and start a full-time writing career so I am grateful for that."
Economic Values is published by Gopher UK and can be ordered by calling 01343 550245 or logging on to www.gopherpublishers.com
