Almost £100,000 is to be spent on facilities for hospital patients.
The Brighton, Hove and Newhaven League of Hospital and Community Friends is planning to spend £99,687 in the Brighton area.
Plans include giving £18,000 to add more talking signs in the hospital grounds to help visitors find their way around.
More than £30,000 will be spent on specialist surgical equipment and monitors for resuscitation training.
Other donations include two electric wheelchairs and paying for artwork for the corridor area of the Millennium Wing courtyard at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
