A Brighton-based software company has used its own software to help win an Investor in People award.
E-Advantage Solutions, founded in 1989, used its information technology expertise to do away with paper records and automate the collection of the required information.
Sussex Enterprise area director Mike Cook presented the company's joint managing director Peter Jenkins with the award.
Mr Jenkins said: "We want the best from, and for, our staff and an Investor in People award enables us to quantify the benefits to define and offer them the best and most appropriate training."
Cliff Jenkins, the other joint managing director, said: "Peter has been the driving force in achieving the award, both in designing our software to handle all the requirements without resorting to paper records and in motivating and training our people to to fulfil our customer care charter."
Mr Cook said: "It is becoming important for companies in all industries to become recognised as an Investor in People. Customers will see a company is committed to offering a quality service through the motivation and experience of its staff.
"The award also puts out a strong message to potential employees that the company offers excellent training opportunities and career development."
