A taxi driver was robbed at knifepoint by a man who asked for directions.
But he dropped the money as he rode off on a motorbike in Hillbarn Lane, Worthing.
The driver had just dropped off a fare at the nearby Norwich Union Offices when a man tapped on the car window.
He asked for directions, then produced a small knife with a wooden handle and demanded the taxi driver hand over money.
The robber grabbed the money and ran behind the taxi to a parked black trials bike.
