Accountancy firm Mazars Neville Russell's Brighton-based corporate finance team has completed a deal worth more than £1 million.
It involved the sale of Information Catalysts (InfoCat), a business consultancy with a £1.7 million turnover, to Coheris, a French e-business specialist listed on the Paris stock exchange and operating across Europe.
Adrian Alexander, who heads the Brighton team, and Alex Turner acted for InfoCat.
Mr Alexander said: "We prepared the company for sale, identified an appropriate buyer and managed the completion process. The operation took just over a year."
The sale took the Brighton corporate finance team into the international league.
Mr Alexander said: "This fits well as Mazars Neville Russell is the UK arm of one of the largest international accountancy partnerships in Europe.
Coheris, the purchasing company, is a client of our Paris office."
