A cyclist wearing an England shirt laughed after he knocked an 11-year-old girl off her bike and rode over her foot.
He overtook the girl on his silver BMX bike and sent her flying on to the ground in North Street, Wick.
The man then turned around and caused a gash to her foot by running over her with his bike.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "He rode off laughing, leaving his victim injured and very frightened."
The man, who was drinking alcohol from a bottle, was about 5ft 8in, of skinny build and was in his early 20s.
He had short blonde spiky hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a chunky gold neck chain and had a black tooth.
