Jason Lewry is back in the Sussex team for tomorrow's Championship match against Hampshire at West End.
Lewry was left out of the side which drew with Yorkshire at Arundel last week, but he has been recalled in place of Mark Robinson.
Lewry spent last week fine-tuning his bowling action after a modest start to the season which saw him take 13 wickets in five games.
Coach Peter Moores said: "Jason worked really hard last week on one or two things and the good thing is he's hungry again and it will be good to have him back."
Hampshire know all about Lewry's qualities. He took a hat-trick in a match haul of 13-79 when Sussex won by an innings at Hove a year ago.
Fifth-placed Sussex are four points behind their hosts in Division One and Moores says they are targetting a second win of the season.
"The basis of staying in Division One is posting scores and we have done that consistently this season.
"If you do that you will always be competitive. Hampshire are a strong side, particluarly in their batting, but we feel they are beatable."
John Crawley returns to the Hampshire side after missing their last game while Robin Smith has recovered from a back problem and will play.
Sussex: Montgomerie, Goodwin, Adams, Yardy, Ambrose, Martin-Jenkins, Prior, Innes, Davis, Taylor, Lewry.
