A West Sussex village landmark has been restored to its former glory.
The clock above the former Barclays Bank building in Sea Road, East Preston, has been restored to full working order.
The building's new owners have turned the former bank into a bar called The Clockhouse in recognition of residents' affection for the timepiece.
The clock was erected in the Twenties in memory of local men who died during the First World War.
Recently it had fallen into disrepair and the hands were missing.
Co-owner of the Clockhouse Kevin Young said: "The clock had been such an attractive feature of this part of East Preston. It was a shame it had fallen into such disrepair so we had it restored."
