A teenage girl who sparked a police investigation after going missing has been found safe and well.
Sadie Carroll, 13, disappeared from East Brighton College of Media Arts, in Wilson Avenue, Whitehawk, Brighton, on Wednesday lunchtime.
She was wearing her school uniform and was not thought to have taken any clothes with her, which concerned police.
Her stepfather Andy Rice, 35, of Buckingham Place, Brighton, told The Argus the family were sick with worry. She had not told anyone she was going before failing to report for registration.
Police began interviewing her classmates and fears for her welfare were increasing.
But this morning, officers said Sadie was discovered safe and well at an address in Brighton last night.
