Two men have been charged after a man was found with head injuries and a knife wound.
Simon Loveland, 43, of Blackman Street, Brighton, and Nicholas Smithies, 38, of Tichbourne Street, Brighton, are due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday jointly charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm.
The 43-year-old injured man was found at his Brighton home with a knife wound to a leg and head injuries.
He is recovering at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
