Children throughout West Sussex will be heading for the Reading Planet this summer.
Libraries across the county are taking part in a series of games aimed at encouraging children to keep reading during the summer holidays.
The scheme, called the Reading Planet, is expected to attract thousands of children aged between three and 12.
Lesley Sim, head of services to children and young people at West Sussex County Council, said: "All children have to do is visit their library and register to take part.
"Each child who starts the game will get a collectors' wallet with a space landscape and for every book they read they will get a sheet of stickers to add to their landscape.
"If they complete the game by reading six books they will also get a certificate."
