Many top names have been linked with the vacant manager's post at First Division Brighton and Hove Albion.
Also interested is 33-year-old Michael Brennan, a non-League coach from Scarborough in Yorkshire.
Mr Brennan is so keen to fill the role he has offered to run the Albion for free.
Even the cash-strapped Albion are certain to reject this kind offer from a man whose chief claim to fame was running Bottesford Town in Lincolnshire.
Mr Brennan says he is a flexible coach but Albion should make sure on this occasion he misses the bus.
