A road in Brighton used as a short cut by many motorists is to be closed for up to ten months.
Kensington Street in Brighton was closed on Monday for work to take place on converting the former Argus building into flats.
The street provides a route between Gloucester Road and North Road.
While the closure is in effect, Brighton and Hove City Council is to provide an alternative route.
It will reverse the one-way system in Gloucester Street and Robert Street and between the two roads.
