What hope is there of reducing traffic growth, pollution and congestion - and of meeting Brighton and Hove City Council's sustainability strategy aims and measures in its transport policy - if 46 parking places are included in the planning proposal for 64 homes in West Street, Brighton (The Argus, July 9)?
This is not sustainable development. Extra vehicles will only impede the flow of the city's buses.
Car-less (not care-less) developments in towns would improve our health, the economy and quality of life.
