Consultancy firm Generics is cutting up to 25 jobs to save cash amid uncertain market conditions.
The group, which employs more than 300 staff, is aiming to cut costs by £2.5 million a year.
It said the cuts would be made at its Cambridge sites and be among staff employed as consultants or in support functions. Executive directors had also agreed to take a 20 per cent wage cut, the group said.
The cutbacks come on top reductions earlier this year.
Generics cut a small number of support staff to make savings of less than £1 million.
