We were delighted to see coverage in The Argus of the work of traders in the St James's Street area of Brighton in making the city a safer place for business and recreation.
The work of this group is an exemplar of what can be achieved when businesses and their communities come together to address mutual issues of concern.
The part played in the regeneration of the city by the smallest businesses is too easily overlooked.
The Enterprise Agency, Brighton, Hove and Lewes applauds the work of the St James's Action Group and hopes The Argus will continue to recognise and promote the city's small-business community as the socially aware and economically important sector it is.
