An elderly driver and passenger had a lucky escape when their car got stuck in a hedge in Goring.
The pair were involved in a collision with another car, being driven by a young woman, which sent them hurtling towards the 6ft-high hedge.
Their car, a Ford KA, narrowly missed a lamp post before ending up stuck at a 45 degree angle.
The accident happened in The Strand, Goring, yesterday at about 2pm.
Police said the driver of the Ford KA was a 70-year-old woman. She was not injured.
Philip Dawson, who lives nearby, heard the crash.
He said: "I was in the garden trying to relax and have a bit of peace and quiet when I heard a bang.
"I think everyone was all right but a bit shaken."
Paramedics were called but no one needed to be taken to hospital.
