What an event! Only Brighton could play host to a unique party attracting so many people having such a great time.

So it's sad but inevitable that it must remain a one-off.The city's infrastructure, be it transport, toilets, A&E trolleys or rubbish disposal cannot cope with crowds of this magnitude.

The equivalent of the city's entire population of 250,000 was on the beach and surrounding streets.

Even with every bus we own on the road we have about 15,000 seats to move people, which is a drop in the ocean of what would be needed.

It was a nightmare for our drivers trying to drive safely through roads clogged with people.

Regretfully, the only place for an event of this size where the infrastructure can cope is Hyde Park in London.

Trouble is, that's not Brighton and Norman Cook would be playing away!

Well done Norman - but not again!
