Two thieves stole £30 from a man at Littlehampton Carnival while he was having an epileptic fit.
They saw their chance to help themselves to a bucket full of money while Michael Owen was lying unconscious on the ground.
If these youngsters have any conscience they will return the money which Mr Owen had collected for youth groups in the town.
But if, as is likely, they do not own up to the callous crime, police should spare no efforts in trying to identify them.
Mr Owen has said he will try to replace the money himself but he lives on disability allowance.
The good folk of Littlehampton should save him the trouble.
