Albion have agreed a new six-figure deal with shirt sponsors Skint Records.

The new one-year agreement will run until the end of the season and the Seagulls are launching new home and away change strips that will bear a new style Skint logo.

Skint began their sponsorship of the club in 1999 and Albion chairman Dick Knight is delighted the highly successful partnership will continue as the Seagulls embark on a new season in Division One.

Knight said: "Albion and Skint represent one of the more enlightened, interesting and involving football club sponsorships of recent years.

"They are fantastic partners of the club and we are planning more initiatives together for the benefit of Albion supporters."

Skint records partner Damian Harris said: "We have kind of run out of superlatives as regards our three year involvement with the club.

"To win two consecutive championships has been such an achievement and it goes without saying that we are increditably proud to have our name on the shirts.

"All we need now is the stadium. Roll on Falmer."

The new Albion strip for 2002-03, which sports a collarless high-neck, sees a bolder presentation of the Seagull badge, while the number panel on the back will bear the traditional Brighton and Hove town crests.

The away change kit will see Albion in all-black strip, featuring a Seagull-wing graphic symbol.

It is intended to invite Skint to continue their sponsorship next year to ensure their involvement for the life of the new kit.
