We have recently fallen in love with, and bought, a 1960 Austin Healey "frog-eye" Sprite.
The car has had only one previous owner, Mr Harold Evans, from Saltdean.
Sadly, we understand the car was put up for sale after Mr Evans' death.
The Sprite has now moved to its new home in Lincolnshire, where we intend to restore it to its former glory.
It is very evident the car must have once been Harold's pride and joy and we were told he had actually driven it to Tenerife on holiday.
We would dearly love to find out more about Harold, the car and its history and would be very grateful if any readers could help.
If any of Harold's relatives have any information, recollections or photographs they would be willing to pass on, we would be extremely grateful.
We would also like to reassure any of Harold's friends or relations that the car will receive the tender, loving care it deserves.
