Engineers have been working hard to fix the problem that caused the fountain in Steine Gardens, Brighton, to stop working.
I am pleased to write that the fountain is now working properly and I hope this attractive and important feature of Steine Gardens will continue to please residents and visitors alike.
I hope Mrs Bodle and Paul Davey (Letters, July 5) will enjoy the gardens and I apologise that it has taken a little while to address their letters.
-Coun Heather James, deputy chairwoman, environment, Brighton and Hove City Council
