A teenage girl was sexually assaulted as she walked home through Brighton in the early hours.
The 16-year-old was in Lewes Road, near Mithras House, Brighton, when the man approached.
He grabbed her, threw her to the ground and tried to take off her clothes.
She struggled and suffered minor injuries before the attacker fled.
The assault happened at about 2.30am on Tuesday and police are appealing for witnesses.
The attacker was about 35, 5ft 7in, with short dark hair.
