If Ken Bodfish and Jackie Lythell's comments about the "success" of the Fatboy Slim concert were not irresponsible enough, I am astounded Councillor Keith Taylor's criticisms were shouted down by Labour members of Brighton and Hove City Council.
If a night club or bar had operated in the way the council has behaved and four times as many people attended an event as were planned or allowed for, it would have been closed without a second's thought.
