A woman died and six other people were injured in three accidents this weekend.
The fatal crash happened at 5.30pm yesterday on the A273 Pyecombe to Burgess Hill road when a Renault Clio and Ford Mondeo collided near the junction with Pyecombe Road, Pyecombe.
A front-seat passenger in the Clio died and the driver suffered serious injuries. Three people in the Mondeo were hurt.
A motorcyclist suffered head and internal injuries when his Honda Firestorm collided with a people-carrier van outside Millwards Farm at Laughton, near Lewes, at 4.40pm on Friday.
The man is 49 and is believed to live locally.
The third accident happened at 6am yesterday when a 41-year-old fell off his bike in New England Road, Brighton. He suffered serious head injuries.
The names of those involved have not been released by Sussex Police who operate data protection guidelines.
