Walking past the Peace Park in Dorset Gardens, Brighton, the other day, I was surprised to see no one was making use of this pleasant patch of green just off St James's Street.
Then I realised youngsters are deterred by a "No ball games" notice and the more mature by a total absence of seats.
Surely a couple of swings or a basketball net and some benches would make this park a valuable resource for local residents, many of whom live in flats?
