A woman who died in a two-car crash at Pyecombe on Sunday has been named by police.
She was Jean Ransom, 63, of Connaught Avenue, Shoreham.
Ms Ransom was the front-seat passenger in a Renault Clio which was in collision with an oncoming Ford Mondeo on the A273, near the junction with Pyecombe Street.
The driver of her car was seriously injured and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
The crash happened at 5.30pm on Sunday. Witnesses should contact Sgt Sinden of Haywards Heath traffic police on 0845 6070999.
