Police are trying to trace relatives of a woman found bound and gagged half-way down cliffs at a notorious suicide blackspot.
The woman was found at Beachy Head, near Eastbourne, along with the body of Elizabeth Taylor, 39, from Eastbourne.
Police, who believe they know the woman's identity, said today formal identification would take place following the tracing of next of kin.
A force spokesman said: "We are trying to trace the next of kin but unfortunately, it's taking longer than we hoped."
The discovery of the bodies, about 300ft down the cliffs last Friday, was originally treated as suspicious.
Following a preliminary investigation, detectives ruled out foul play and said it was coincidental that both bodies were found at the same time.
