I hold no brief for Nicholas Hoogstraten. I and at least one other member of my family have been victims of his ruthless shadow companies.
However, I must say I would have been more impressed with Voice of The Argus and coverage (July 22) had you been prepared to adopt such a strident and forceful attitude before he was in no position to defend himself.
The Argus should be - and is - a paper that usually campaigns on behalf of its readers.
In the case of Mr Hoogstraten, you have let us down over the past 30 years.
