Beer lover Keith Wood is set to pedal his way round 26 pubs - the day after completing two other fitness marathons.
Although he plans to have a tipple at some of the pubs, he will stick to low-alcohol drinks until he nears the finish.
Keith, 41, will spend August bank holiday weekend exerting himself to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
He will take part in the Sussex Stride, a 50-mile trek across the South Downs on Saturday, August 24, organised by the Long Distance Walkers.
He said: "I will not run it - well, not all of it."
The next day Keith, who works for Ace Insurance in Crawley, will row 55 miles in what he is calling the London to Brighton rowed race, as it is the same distance as the London to Brighton road race.
He will take on that challenge on a rowing machine at the David Lloyd Leisure Centre in Brighton Marina.
Keith, who lives in Saltdean with his wife Lyn, will then take on the tasty part of the challenge on the Monday, cycling round the 26 pubs tied to the brewery Harvey and Son (Lewes) Ltd.
Keith, who trains in the gym up to three nights a week, said: "I'm rather fond of real ale.
"I'm a beer lover, although I won't be drinking at all 26 pubs.
"Maybe I will have something with low alcohol."
For the pub challenge, Keith will cycle about 40 miles to Battle to reach his first watering hole and then map a route back via the other 25 venues.
He said: "I had collected sponsorship for the London to Brighton bike ride but I did my back in and couldn't take part.
"So I came up with this plan. I'm reasonably fit and try to train as often as I can."
Keith has already raised hundreds of pounds for the charity and hopes his latest efforts will boost that amount further.
Anyone who wants to support Keith should telephone Jean Rolfe, of Cancer Research UK, on 01342 841734.
