A mobile software company has designed a system to help lawyers make more money.
Hailsham-based Remus has launched Tempus, which runs on a hand-held computer or personal digital assistant. It can be used to record the details and costs of tasks done on behalf of different clients.
Notes can be assigned to each task and detailed and accurate billing reports provided. Remus claims the software can help raise fee-earners' revenues by more than £10,000 per annum.
Ian Ashley-Smith of Donaldson Dunstall solicitors in Bexhill, said:
"Accurate recording of time by lawyers has never been more important. We need to be able to show quickly and accurately what time we have spent on a case."
