Five-year-old Dean Brady, who suffers from cerebral palsy, is planning his latest fund-raising effort.
The youngster has spent most of his life forgetting his own condition to help raise money for those less fortunate than himself.
On Sunday, he will take part in a sponsored walk and wants people to join him or donate some much needed money.
Dean touched people's hearts when he was one of the four winners in the Courageous Child Achievement Awards run by The Argus.
The five-year-old, of Kingsland Close, Shoreham, has had to use a wheelchair for most of his life, suffers from severe breathing problems and is still waiting for a stomach operation to help him eat.
But Dean is still an inspirational fund-raising figure.
Only last year, he helped a youngster in Lancing raise £3,000 so that he could attend a special school in East Grinstead.
Now Dean is pushing his wheelchair from the King Alfred Leisure Centre, on Hove seafront, to Peter Pan's playground, Brighton, and back again.
All the money will go to Canine Partners, a charity that provides trained dogs for disabled people so they can lead a more independent life.
Dean's mum, Sally, said: "His aim is to raise £9,000 so he can sponsor the cost of a fully-trained dog.
"We don't think he will be able to raise all that in one go so Dean wants to do a number of walks along the South Coast to raise the money.
"He is a bit down-hearted at the moment as he doesn't think many people are going to help him but, with a bit of publicity, I'm sure we will reach our goal.
"It's a five-and-a-half mile walk, which is a long way in a wheelchair. All Dean wants to do is help other disabled people - he wants to do his bit.
"He would like to have a dog when he is much older."
Canine Partners help disabled people such as stroke victims and cerebral palsy sufferers. With the help of a dog, they manage to lead normal lives.
Amazingly, the pooch will help pull them out of bed, draw curtains, do the shopping and take money out of cash points.
Wrestling fanatic Dean said: "I'm ready to rumble. I hope we can get a lot of people involved because I really want to raise some money for the dogs."
Anyone wishing to join in the walk or make a donation, should contact Sally on 01273 273167.
