I have been expecting letters criticising the breakdown of Brighton and Hove City Council's expenses bill of £800,000.
If a councillor is involved giving support, advice or suggestions for the benefit of people, whether successful or not, a salary is warranted.
Reading through the list of councillors receiving salaries, so many names are just not familiar.
Are we paying for non-active councillors? It would be interesting to receive details of exactly how they earn their salaries.
