The two social workers should have been charged with neglect of little John Smith, not just sacked.
As for all their colleagues who came out in support and protested.
They are equally as damaging as the two they are supporting because they were not working and so possibly neglecting someone else.
It seems to me these protesters are actually condoning the two social workers' neglect of little John Smith.
If this is the case, there will probably be more little Johns because no one has learnt anything since the tragic death of Maria Colwell all those years ago.
The Argus reported the two sacked social workers cried. They are lucky to still be alive to cry more tears.
Unfortunately, little John isn't able to cry any longer. How these social workers can sleep soundly in their beds is beyond me.
