The Red Arrows display team will stream across the sky over Eastbourne during the town's biggest four-day Airbourne show.
To mark the occasion, thrill seekers are being given the chance to try a host of adrenaline-fuelled activities.
Councillor Mike Thompson, Cabinet spokesman for tourism, leisure and entertainment at Eastbourne Borough Council, said: "You could win a wing-walk, a flying lesson or even spend a day with the RAF Falcons parachute display team."
To enter the competition, you will have to complete the voucher in the official Airbourne souvenir programme for the event, which is sponsored by the civil service motoring association and starts on August 15.
Other highlights will include the Belgian military F16 jet completing the Cobra manoeuvre, flying vertically and seeming to stop still at the top.
The Harrier jump jet will be in action as will the Russian aerobatic plane Sukhoi SU26 and the Dc3 Dakota, as well as many others.
The RAF parachute team will freefall and there will be ground displays in the free main event arena on the seafront Western Lawns.
There will also be static displays on the ground, including Tornado and Hawk planes, the Hercules fuselage and the Harrier cockpit and displays from the RAF mountain rescue, bomb disposal and mobile catering support units.
There will be flight simulators, a children's zone on the beach with trampolining and a bouncy castle. The event will close with a free firework display on the pier on August 18 at 9.30pm.
Programmes for Airbourne go on sale from the Tourist Information Centre from Friday.
