Bond girl Catherine McQueen set temperatures soaring on an overcast beach.
Catherine, 24, the sizzling star of the next 007 movie, Die Another Day, stepped into the waves at Brighton to help promote a campaign to beat skin cancer.
She was joined by the youngest person in the UK to be diagnosed with melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer, in a stunt run by the Cancer Research UK campaign.
Jamie Smith, now 24, beat the disease 12 years ago because she sought early treatment.
McQueen, who was handing out free suncream to bathers on the beach, said: "There are so many products available now there is no need to be in the sun damaging your skin."
Ms Smith, from London, was diagnosed with skin cancer at the age of 12 when her doctor spotted a mole on her back.
She said: "I was very lucky because I went to the doctor very early."
