I am pleased to inform Mrs Charlton (Letters, July 31), we are actively investigating ways to ease traffic flow in North Street and Western Road.
Following the issue of government regulations, Brighton and Hove City Council is looking to take action against vehicles driving in bus lanes using on-street cameras.
We are planning to take over bus-lane enforcement and are exploring the possibility of introducing better controls. This action would improve the problems Mrs Charlton identifies.
