A record-breaking classic car will be on display during Eastbourne's air show at the end of the week.
The 24-litre Napier-Railton has been lovingly restored to top condition and will be on show for visitors to Airbourne from Thursday to Sunday.
The pre-war car was driven by John Cobb in the days of the Speed Kings.
In 1935, John established the all-time fastest lap record at the Brooklands Outer Circuit, travelling at a speed of 114mph.
Chairman John Herington said: "It is particularly poignant to be displaying the car at Eastbourne this summer because it is exactly 50 years since John's death in the powerboat Crusader on Loch Ness in the course of an attempt at the World Water Speed Record."
A classic and historical vehicle parade will also take place along the seafront on Saturday and Sunday morning.
