People are being urged to share their views on the future of a Brighton church which is threatened with closure.
A declining congregation and the cost of running St Augustine and St Saviour has led church commissioners to propose shutting the 100-year-old church.
Liberal Democrats are now conducting a survey to find out what people think would be the best use for the building in Stanford Avenue.
Campaigner Trefor Hunter, said: "We need to act quickly as once they make a decision, it may be difficult to change.
"Whatever happens, the community should benefit in as many ways as possible. If it closes, we do not want it to just sit there derelict."
The Reverend David Guest, communications officer for Chichester Diocese, said: "The closure proposal came from the parish itself, which asked for redundancy to start.
"It cannot afford to heat and upkeep the building. The final decision will not be made for some time."
People who have any ideas can write to the Diocesan Redundant Church Uses Committee, c/o Church House, 211 New Church Road, Hove.
