Carley Wenham and Charlotte Browning have run to national glory.
Wenham (Crawley) won the 100m title and Browning (Chichester) claimed the 1,500m crown at the AAA Under-15s Champion-ships at Birmingham.
Sprinter Carley, the All England Schools champion, maintained her unbeaten run this season with victories in her heat and semi-final before finishing two metres clear in the final (12.08sec), equalling her fastest electronic time.
The Ifield Community College pupil was refreshed after opting out of the 200m.
Carley said: "I'd have had to make a second trip to Birmingham and run a total of six races. I'm happy with the way I ran. I will run for Sussex this month."
Charlotte completed her season on a high note in 4min.38.53sec.
The Chichester High pupil is a national cross country champion.
WADE Bennett-Jackson (Worthing High) completed a sprint double for Sussex in an under-17s inter-county match at Kingston.
Wade, runner-up in the All England Schools' 100m last month, won the 100m in 11.11sec and the 200m in a personal best 22.32sec.
Simon Cooke (Chichester) was first in the discus with 47.57m.
Craig Ivemy, the All England Schools' 3,000m champion from Hailsham, took the 1,500m in 4min.04.07sec.
Cheryl Heath (Hastings) won the girls' 3,000m A race in 10min.45.98sec. Her twin sister Jenna took the B race in 10min. 01.69sec.
Danielle Andrews (Crawley) won the B triple jump with 10.17sec and Jenny Bliss (Brighton and Hove) was second in the A event with 11.13m.
Bliss won the 300m B race in 42.38sec. Club-mate Florence Ray took second in the A event in 42.2sec.
