Villagers in Ashington, near Storrington, are making the final preparations for their annual festival.
The event on Saturday will include a carnival procession, arena displays, a flower show, disco and fireworks.
A carnival procession will make its way through the village from 1.30pm and end up at Ashington recreation ground.
Among the people at the head of the parade will be this year's carnival princess, Melissa Parker, 11, and her attendants Claire Harthill, ten, and Hayleigh Rooke, seven, along with the two pageboys, Daniel Blackman, 11, and Max Johnston, seven.
Arena events at the recreation ground will include a fun dog show, a birds of prey display and an aerobatic display.
The Harris Bros fun fair will also be there, along with stalls and shire and miniature horses.
A flower show will be held in the village hall.
Festivities finish with a disco in the evening and fireworks at 10pm.
