On August 17, Brunswick Festival continues with its annual Jazz In The Square event from 12pm-6pm, featuring Lawrence Jones' Jazz For Small Dogs and Sambossa.

There's also Latin music in the square as part of Sunday's "fun day".

On August 19, renowned UK tenor saxman Danny Moss returns from Australia to visit local venues, beginning with The Hen And Chicken in Southwater.

On August 20, in Worthing, vocalist and pianist Nadia Baki plays The Hare And Hounds with Ian Price on saxophone.

August 22, at The Prince Albert, Trafalgar Street, brings the residency of the Mark Edwards Band.

This week, they are joined by saxophonist and reeds all-rounder Ben Castle.

Ben has worked with many leading players, including John Etheridge, and performed with pop bands such as Supergrass.

Mark and Ben have been performing together since the days of their great soul band, the Fabulous Sister Brothers.

Komedia has the fabulous Latin nine-piece Nois, featuring vocalist Monica Vasconcelos and a great array of horn players including Ingrid Laubrock, Paul Nieman and Paul Jayasinha.

Lewes Jazz Club has leading percussionist Steve Ball's Jazz Explorium Quartet.
