A pedestrian died from his injuries after he was hit by a car on an East Sussex road last night.
The 58-year-old man was taken to Conquest Hospital in Hastings but medics could not save his life.
A Nissan Bluebird was involved in the accident on the Straight Mile part of the A265, near Etchingham, at 9.39pm.
The driver, a 43-year-old from Haywards Heath, was driving the car and had an 11-year-old passenger.
Both escaped injury. Bexhill Traffic Police are appealing for witnesses.
