Thousands of people took advantage of the sunny weather to enjoy Ashington's annual carnival parade and fair.
Saturday's event at the village, near Storrington, was officially opened by sports pundit Jimmy Hill.
The show included fairground rides, a fancy dress competition and a fun dog show.
Other attractions included clowns, stilt walkers, a limbo dance act, a display of wild birds, shire and miniature horses, a Punch and Judy show and a magic show.
The event, now in its sixth year, is organised by the Ashington Festival and Carnival Committee.
Committee member Margaret Alford said: "The weather has been wonderful and the turnout was very high.
"Even people who have moved away from Ashington will often come back for the show and have a reunion with friends and neighbours."
Proceeds from the fair will be ploughed back into Ashington in the form of grants to local community and voluntary groups.
