A recruitment agency has chosen Brighton as the site for its latest branch.

First Recruitment Services opened the doors to its new branch in Bond Street last week.

The team is headed by operations director Michelle Peagam and is made up by Lisa Bromley, Amanda Stodart, Emily Mann and Louisa Skinner.

Between them they have more than 40 years knowledge of the local recruitment market.

Ms Peagam said: "Brighton and Hove is buzzing. It has not felt the impact of a somewhat tough economic climate experienced in other parts of the country.

"I am impressed at the fantastic response from both job seekers and clients since opening. The business generated is above even our highest expectations.

"The pay rates in the city are very high and placing applicants and supplying temporaries is simply a pleasure."
