Two readers of The Argus fulfilled a dream when they took to the skies over Shoreham Airport.
Nicola Allen and Ben Fearnside won reader competitions to fly with two of the stars of the Shoreham Airshow.
Nicola, 38, a pub waitress from Kemp Town, Brighton, looped the loop in the passenger seat of stunt ace Denny Dobson's £250,000 aerobatic display plane.
The aircraft's most spectacular stunt is to fly at 250mph just 3ft from the ground to "limbo" under a tape, cutting it with the plane's tail fin.
Nicola said: "My motto is that anything that gives someone more than 30 butterflies in their stomach is definitely something to have a go at."
Ben, 34, a woodwork instructor with Limited Editions in Kemp Town, Brighton, won the chance to perform a wing walk with the Utterly Butterly Barnstormers on Friday.
He said: "It was a bit of a shock when we took off but once we were up there it was fantastic."
