A Russian student tackled knife-wielding robbers and forced them to give back his wallet.
He was walking in Bernard Place at the junction with Whippingham Street, Brighton, when he was held up at knifepoint by two men.
The student gave them his wallet and the offenders started to run off.
But he gave chase, tackled the man who had taken his money and was given his wallet back.
The student, aged 16, was shaken by his ordeal but uninjured. The offenders were both white and in their early 20s.
The robbery happened at 11pm on Sunday.
